As-salaamu alaykum,

Yesterday, our colleagues greeted a Utah imam when he landed in Salt Lake City. The imam was recently placed on the "no-fly list" and barred from returning to the United States from Kenya.

He was only able to return home after CAIR filed an emergency lawsuit on his behalf on Friday. Alhamdulillah, he can now lead prayers and be with his family and community.

We have many more cases like this.

CAIR needs your support in these last days of Ramadan to continue defending the rights of American Muslims.

We need $75,000 to reaching our fundraising goal before the end of Ramadan. We can reach that goal if everyone does their part.

Contributions to CAIR are both zakat-eligible and tax-deductible.

Consider giving $30, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, or any amount you can. We appreciate any contribution you give.

Please take a minute right now to show your support for our work by going to ca.cair.com/sacval/donate to make a contribution.

Thank you for supporting us as we strive to protect the community.

In Unity & Solidarity,

Your CAIR-SV Family
