CAIR is monitoring the investigation into the shooting deaths of two Muslim men and a Muslim teenager killed Wednesday inside a Fort Wayne, Ind., home. The bodies of 23-year-old Mohamed Taha Omar, 20-year-old Adam Kamel Mekki and 17-year-old Muhannad Adam Tairab – all of African heritage – were each shot multiple times “execution style.”
The Washington-based Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization has reached out to investigators in the case, to local Muslim community leaders and to the families of the victims.
