Overview:
Title: Voter Engagement Coordinator
Job Type: Temporary, July-December 2016
Schedule Type: Part-Time
Location: Two positions available in Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco Counties
Time Commitment: Part-time with occasional evenings and weekends required
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Manage voter registration booths at local mosques and other high traffic areas and events
- Distribute voter education materials
Required Qualifications:
- Community organizing and leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to civic engagement and community empowerment
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation
This position reports to the Executive Director.
Compensation:
- Pay is $14/hour
- Mileage will be reimbursed per I.R.S. standard
