Shaykh Omar Suleiman is an Islamic scholar from New Orleans, Louisiana who has pursued Islamic studies in many parts of the world including the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Malaysia. Upon becoming certified in various traditional sciences, he completed a Bachelors in Islamic law, a Bachelors in Accounting, a Masters in Islamic finance, Masters in Political History, and is in the process of completing his PhD from the Islamic University of Malaysia in Islamic Thought and Civilization. He currently serves as the Resident Scholar of Valley Ranch Islamic Center in Dallas and director of the Islamic Learning Foundation. He teaches with various institutes and universities including Al Maghrib, Bayyinah, and Mishkah University. He’s also the founder of Ilmflix.comand MUHSEN (Muslims Understanding and Helping Special Education Needs)
