Thanks to your support, CAIR-SFBA’s work has steadily grown to empower our community and proactively respond to the increased hateful targeting of our faith and community over the past two decades.
Here are a few examples of what your support has helped CAIR-SFBA achieve over the past year:
- Responded to over 700 legal intakes from our brothers and sisters experiencing FBI visits, school bullying, travel delays, and seeking assistance with asylum, citizenship, and removal defense
- Trained nearly 2,000 participants in our anti-hate curriculum, including Bystander Intervention and Microaggression Interruption, to ensure people are equipped to protect each other
- Empowered 100 Muslim youth through virtual programs like Muslim Youth Live and in-person Know Your Rights presentations and the Muslim Gamechangers Network, in partnership with local masajid
- Adapted our programs, but also reopened our offices to enable our clients and community members to continue to receive the services they need uninterrupted
